Had corned beef and cabbage for St. Pat's day; fabulous, the best and leanest I have ever had. Should have expected it because their Rubins are perfect and I've had them from coast to coast. Jack's is a gem.

Strong, hot coffee. Pancakes for lunch. Moist before syrup. Efficient service. After lunch crowd. Standard industrial carpet, dark tables and booths. Brightly lit and clean.

Food was really good! I highly recommend the cheesy potato tots!!! Our waitress was nice and very attentive.

This wonderful restaurant has an extensive and varied menu and everything my family has tried has been excellent. The homemade soup comes as an appetizer when you order a sandwich and is also delicious. My favorite is the cream of potato. Service is always fast and friendly. This is a great local restaurant to support. Last time I got the lasagna special and the slice was big enough for two!

Best food we've had at a Restaurant in a long time. My daughter and I are there at least twice a week. They have Swiss steak on Saturday and that's the only place we can get it, it's so good. Jacks is clean, has great staff, the service is awesome and we love going to Jacks, you will too.

I had the Manhattan roast beef sandwich. The quality was good. The amount was plenty. Very good open roast beef sandwich. My wife had the chicken fried steak. She ate 3/4 and brought the rest home. She said it was very good. My mother had chicken stir fry. Like my wife, she said it was very good and at 3/4 and brought the rest home. The price was about $12 per person. Savanna was our waitress and went above and beyond. Her personality is great. Very happy and always wearing her smile. Be sure and ask for Savanna when you stop in.

Stopped while driving from Iowa to St Louis. Free soup with large sandwiches. Only $8-$9 for a meal and so much better than fast food. Definitely a locals place and we can understand why! Leaving this review to help us remember to stop here again.
